La leyenda del Blues: Stevie Ray Vaughan

Le destino este espacio al mas grande violero de los últimos tiempos, Stevie Ray Vaughan. Para mí este tipo logró superar todas sus influencias (hasta el mismísimo Hendrix), se puede ver en el tributo a él, en donde casualmente sus ídolos (Clapton, los King, Buddy Guy, etc..) le hacen un homenaje que muestra la famosa frase del alumno que supera su maestro.

Stevie tendría hoy 53 años. Murió en el ´90 a los 36 años. El accidente fué una cuestión de destino, muy parecido a lo que le pasó a Randy Roads (violero de Ozzy) en su pico del éxito. Salía de un concierto en Wisconsin en donde había tocado con Clapton entre otros, la cuestión es que tenía programado volverse a Chicago en colectivo pero minutos antes de partir le avisaron que sobraba un lugar para él en un helicóptero - SI SOS UN MÚSICO EXITOSO, ESTÁS EN EL PICO DE TU CARRERA Y TE OFRECEN VOLVERTE A CASA EN AVIÓN O HELICÓPTERO, DECÍ QUE NO! - Todos sabemos el destino del maldito helicóptero; se estrelló con centro de sky y murieron los 5 pasajeros. Lo curioso es que dicen que unos días antes Vaughan había soñado que estaba en su propio funeral.
